Shizuoka has been producing some of Japan’s most　exceptional tea for hundreds of years in the foothills of Mount Fuji. This Tea Farmers’ Association is a collective of organic tea masters who are committed to growing organic tea whilst respecting and maintaining natural circulation, in an approach that adheres to Shizuoka’s long-standing history of tea production. These very special organic teas have previously been impossible to export because of high domestic demand and their overwhelming popularity in Japan.

富士山の麓で何百年も日本の最高峰のお茶を生み出してきた静岡。その長い茶づくりの歴史を背景に、「静岡」の名にふさわしい有機茶を生み出し、「自然循環」を徹底する日本有機茶のマイスター集団、それが駿河天狗である。彼らの作るお茶は、国内でも人気が高騰しており、海外への輸出不可能とされている。

“YOJO” Sencha

有機栽培・駿河天狗の養生煎茶

Made solely with ichibancha ( “first crop tea” ) leaves of the premium Yabukita cultivar. It boasts a rounded aroma and a rich taste. *Sencha = unfermented green tea, made from steamed tea that was kneaded in drying process.

高級品種「やぶきた」の厳選された一番茶のみを使用しています。まろやかな香りと豊かな味わいが自慢です。*煎茶＝蒸した緑茶を揉みながら乾燥させて作る不発酵茶です。

Fukamushicha

有機栽培・深蒸し茶

Careful steaming results in the mellow sweetness of this tea. *Fukamushicha = deep-steamed green tea.

じっくり蒸すことで深蒸し茶ならではの円熟した甘味が実現されています。*深蒸し茶=一般的な煎茶よりも時間をかけて蒸した緑茶。

Powdered Sencha

有機栽培・粉末煎茶

This powdered sencha is rich in EGCG, a type of catechin believed to help prevent blood vessel ageing. The tea is smooth and easy-to-drink.

この粉末煎茶は血管の老化防止に効果があるとされるEGCG(エピガロカテキンガレート）というカテキンの一種が豊富に含まれています。まろやかで飲みやすいお茶です。

Mint Ryokucha

有機栽培・ミント緑茶

This blend of the Yabukita tea cultivar and organic mint has a cool, clean, and refreshing taste. *Ryokucha = green tea

このやぶきた種と有機ミントのブレンド茶は清涼感のあるさわやかな味わいです。

Black Tea

有機栽培・国産紅茶

Since 1977, this Black Tea has the　longest manufacturing history in　Japan. A leading young farmer is　actively working on its production.　Slightly sweet straight tea matches any sweets. Also it’ s enjoyable as a milk tea.

1977年より、日本で最も古くから製造されている紅茶です。若手農家が精力的に生産に取り組んでいます。わずかな甘みのストレート紅茶はどんなスウィーツにも合います。また、ミルクティーとしてもお楽しみいただけます。
