KAGAWA OBARABENIWASE MIKAN

香川小原紅早生みかん

These Kagawa-grown Wenzhou mandarin oranges have been cultivated from the Obarabeniwase breed of mandarin orange first discovered in Kagawa Prefecture. With its dark, vibrant skin, from among the nearly 100 types of Wenzhou mandarin oranges grown in Japan, these are said to have the most scarlet hue of all, and it was noted during its appraisal for registration as a variety that was said to have the most red of all hues in the heirarchy of all the Wenzhou mandarin oranges of the same species. Its dark orange flesh is demonstrably different from other Wenzhou mandarin oranges, making this very much a rarity.

香川県で発見された品種「小原紅早生」を用いて香川県内で栽培された温州みかんです。果皮の色は鮮やかな濃紅色で、国内で栽培される温州みかん約100品種の中で、果皮の色が最も紅いと言われており、その色は、品種登録の際の特性評価では、同種の温州みかんが濃橙であるのに対して、一段階高い紅（赤橙）として登録されています。果肉の色も濃橙色で、他の温州みかんとは、明らかに異なる形質を有している稀少な品種です。

KITOU YUZU

木頭ゆず

KITOU YUZU is a generic term for the native strain of yuzu selected, propagated, and cultivated primarily in Kitou, Naka, Tokushima Prefecture since ancient times. Repeated selection of cultivar strains over half a century has produced a large, corpulent shape with a thick skin and juicy flesh. With few problems occurring in terms of their skin, they not only look beautiful but have also been highly praised both throughout Japan and the EU.

那賀町木頭地区（旧木頭村）を中心に那賀町内で古くから栽培されていた在来のゆずから選抜・増殖され、那賀町内で生産されたゆずの総称です。半世紀にわたり品種の系統選抜が繰り返されたことで、大玉で玉揃いがよく、果皮が厚く、果汁が多い柚子が生産されるようになりました。果皮障害の発生が少なく、外観が美しいのが特徴で、国内及びEUの市場から高い評価を得ています。
